     - Reuses compass.html's :root palette. The ONE new light-theme colour is
       --cmp-ontime, and only because --grn #0f8a4f measures 4.40:1 on white,
       4.03:1 on the AM card and 3.89:1 on the PM card — it fails the 4.5:1
       floor at 11.5px. The dark mission surfaces also get new values, because
       the light palette has no dark-surface token at all.
     - Nothing pulses. Nothing animates on the ring or mission screens. The only
       moving thing there is .cmp-msn-countdown-fill's width, driven by JS.
